For my Global Studies project I decided I wanted to learn more about my parents and their journey to the United States. I have always known that they traveled here in their youth, but I realized that I didn't know very many details about their trip, and lives back in their home countries. My mom came to the United States at 17 in 1989 and my Dad at age 10 in 1979. This interview consists of them answering my questions about their journey, feelings, and experiences as an immigrant during that time.
